  • I cant rate the durability because i hooked this to the wrong port! Be careful not to plug it into the DJI air plug on the Flight controller! It will instantly turn this unit into junk with a green light. Betaflight will not detect this unit once it\'s been hooked up wrong even though the green led still lights up! I\'ll just have to fly without GPS for now!
  • The description and image say this uses the uBlox protocol, however the package had a very obvious label attached that says to use NMEA.While it never claims to use a uBlox receiver, I think this is somewhat implied by mentioning the uBlox protocol, and in fact the chip is an AT6558. This isn\'t necessarily a bad thing; some people might assume it\'s something different though and expect additional features that aren\'t there. It will send NMEA data at 10Hz 115200 baud out of the box as described. The chip appears to partially implement a subset of the uBlox protocol; I was able to use u-center to configure it for other navigation rates but not much else. The compass appears to work correctly, at least so far.
  • I have bought plenty of the iflight gps receivers in the past just because I like the brand but I decided to try this one because of it\'s price. SO MUCH BETTER. Locks faster, more accurate, and cheaper!I have read some of the reviews saying to use NMEA instead of UBLOX but I could not get the NMEA to work, the instructions that are included say to use the UBLOX. So that\'s what I did and it worked perfectly. The included cable\'s pinout did not match my FC so I had to change that around a bit but it was an easy and acceptable fix. Just don\'t plug yours in and short something out, always check your wiring diagram.I will be buying more and slowly replacing my iflights.
  • Good value for money but the gps takes a litter longer than expected to find satellites and the cables that comes with the unit is a little short
  • This is the most accurate GPS module for FPV I have ever had. I have tried the Matek M8Q-5883 and had mixed results. This M80 Pro gets a stronger and faster lock. The magnetometer is spot on, even in my planes. This is a wonderful unit.
  • 1. connector got loose - the female connector got detached from PCB, not sure when, but I didn\'t have brutal crashes...2. GPS loses signal (not just loosing satellites, the flight controller keeps reporting GPS failure every few minutes.)3. After about 20 flights, GPS failed completely.
  • Good gps like most it takes some time to get a lock on satellites but get a vifly gps mate and it will be fine
