- Fingers crossed it holds up this summer in the Tx heat. But so far, so good as far as holding my dash cam in place.
- The seller clearly states that the package includes six adhesive pads and six alcohol prep wipes. The package only had the six adhesive pads, no alcohol prep wipes. Cheaters!
- Every summer I have a problem with my favorite phone cradle system coming unstuck from my dash in the heat. These little stickers seems to have cured it. It was in the 90\'s yesterday and my car was pointing right into the sun so the dash would have been really hot. The cradle held perfectly. I have a Samsung Note phone so it isn\'t one of the small ones, feel much more secure in putting it in the holder now. We also cut up 3 of them to use in securing some led light strings inside of a metal sculpture that is in the sun all day. Held in the heat, the sculpture was too hot to touch but the adhesives held.
- Doesn\'t stick. I followed directions and as soon as it went on my dash it fell a second later. I tried about 3 or 4 times before I gave up. Doesn\'t come with the extra parts either.
- Bad item sticking badly with glasses! Its not coming out any more!
- I have a used car that the original owners mounted some sort of pad to on top of the dashboard to mount a phone. I don\'t know when it was mounted by them, but I\'ve had the car for 7 years, so it is longer than that. The pad is secured in a way in which it will not move. The pad has a round spot on the center for mounting a suction cup type phone mount, but I\'ve tried a few and none would hold for more than a few minutes, so I wanted to try this solution.At first, I was very impressed. I was able to mount the suction cup from a Qi charger to the pad on my dashboard, waited a day before using it and had a long drive (2 hours) in which having the GPS mounted at eye level was great. If I had written my review then, it would have been a 5 star review - there are plenty of parts, cleaning supplies, reasonable price and it seemed to function exactly as intended.Then we got heat - I saw the sad weatherperson on the news last night pointing out it was not a heatwave, which is apparently defined as three consecutive days over 90 degrees, because, while two days were in the mid-90s, the first day and last day of the 4 day period \"only\" were in the hight 80s.The newscaster was clearly annoyed that there was not a heat wave - I saw her mention it on 3 newscasts that day - I imagine she must have spent her free time telling people talking about a heatwave (the local utility companies told people not to run unnecessary equipment, cooling stations were open, and anyone who is not a meteorologist called it a heatwave) \"It\'s not a heatwave\" despite the 105 degree \"feels like\" temperature.In any event, she was annoyed. I was more annoyed because the almost heatwave ended up resulting in the pad I had installed falling. On the last day of the almost heatwave I put my phone on the stand and, as I started to drive away, BOOM - the entire thing, including the sticky pad, fell down. That left the one exposed sticky side of the pad covered in dog hair because everything I own is covered in dog hair.This may be a great solution if you are not in an area that regularly hits over 90 degrees, but for me, I can\'t risk breaking my phone and thus I will not be trying to use these again.
- Failed to adhere longer than a few days during mild climate. Definitely won\'t hold in summer. Not recommended.
