Tested the box as soon as I got it by placing some items in it to simulate the weight of what I would use it for. Attached it to the frame of my vehicle and rode around trying to make it fall off and it never did. Also semerged it under water and the contents were bone dry. so overall very pleased and only negative thing is that I wish it had a more durable iner liner.
This gadget worked great i was able to use it with my work phone and gps my long time fiance and find out she was cheating on me. While i was devastated i am glad i bought this device. Also tip: If you mount this in the interior somewhere on the vehicle do not mount it in a high spot due to heat(phone) if the vehicle sits in the sun for extended time. I found when i mounted mine under the top in the truck the phone was overheating after the vehicle sat in sun for a while. Its pretty sturdy and stayed shut with the latch, although if your paranoid you could just use a rubber band or strip of electrical tape to keep it closed for a short time. probably not needed.
Magnets are very strong. The space inside is cushioned and will hold the GPS device perfectly
Tested the hold of the magnets on the roof and under the car with no issues multiple trips at 85mph
Durable and well crafted, this stash box performed as expected, and as advertised. The magnets were strong, the seal was Watertight, and I was confident that the items placed within were protected.
Magnets are strong enough to hold it well. Worried about the closing clips. I use black tape to reinforce it as they just feel like a hard bump could knock them open.
Very good - used it on an auto, only issue is that cars are made of mostly aluminium and plastic...
