- Bought it to hide an extra key on my car frame. My key fit and the box is still attached to my car- day 4. No more AAA calls for locking my keys in the car :)
- When I first bought this product I thought it was going to fall off because I wanted to put it under my vehicle just in case I lock my key in the car. The magnets on this thing are out of control it is definitely not going to fall from under the car it\'s actually almost hard to get it off so that\'s a good sign! I must buy if you\'re going to secretly store a key somewhere underneath your car!
- OK - so for the past 2 weeks it has held fine - magnet is not as strong as it could/should be at this size it is - why not use neodymium instead of the one used - cheaper I guess but not near as strong - I would have paid $10-$20 more for the better magnet or the option to replace the one on the box. Which you cant because it is riveted on.My GL300 fits perfectly and snugly inside. It has been kept dry so far and we\'ve had lots of rain the past week.It is a tad bulky but considering the contents and the protection it is not bad. Just have to be diligent in placing it on a solid, flat surface.RECOMMENDATION > either bolt the magnet on the case so it can be replaced if desired or use a better neodymium magnet instead.Yes - I will be drilling out the included magnet and replacing it with a much stronger neodymium the same size. $20 is worth more to me than loosing the $135.00 gps unit!That being said it has held fine the past 2 weeks of normal driving usage.
