• Watch is amazingly brilliant. Easy to set up via Wahoo app. Highly recommend this brand for their customer service (which I used for another device), but this watch is much better than any competitors. Syncs well with bike computer and phone.
• You have to wear a HR monitor when cycling or running. It’ll jump +30% when you’re in zone 2 or warming up and totally mess up your workout data. Really awful. Otherwise it’s great when paired together. Battery life is also very long.
• I am a Wahooligan by joyous admission. I have several Wahoo products and enjoy them all, but the Rival just doesn\'t measure up to the quality of their other offerings.Tl;dr, the lack of quality made me return the watch.I\'m not fussed with the lack of software features of the Rival as though I have measured sleep and HRV for recovery for a few years, I rarely act on the advice given to me from my wearables. I find the featureset on the Rival adequate and believe that it should be plenty for the majority of users. My only issues are with the quality of the product as compared to competing brands as well as the ELMNT bike computers which in and of themselves are top notch products in terms of hardware and software.The primary issues I have with the Rival in its current state are as follows: light-bleed from the screen feels cheap; plastic buttons that make differing clicking noises at times when pressed is not confidence-inspiring; inconsistencies of the plastic resin casing; and the earth-shaking vibration motor (even on low) is wrist-numbing.Outside of the complaints there are some great hardware features such as adaptive backscreen (ambient sensor), being able to choose just phone calls for notifications (software), battery life + the other highlighted features.For $330 USD its easier to pay for than the previous asking price of $380 USD, but I feel there are still too many other higher-quality options on the market as of now. Hoping Wahoo makes a more compelling product in the future, because once they do then I\'m buying.
• I gave this a try and was very excited about it but I may have gotten a defective unit or not? But the battery life is terrible. I charged it 2 times yesterday because the battery was just draining... last charge was before going to sleep, I wake up to the watch off because ir had no battery...I tried, and I really liked the watch but going back to the other popular brand...
• Es un buen reloj, aún lo sigo probando. Las mediciones de GPS son un poco diferentes a Garmin, pero similares. La información de entrenamientos Indoor es muy buena. Con natación requiere mejorar. Le falta que tenga opción de alertas en running como momento de beber o comer. Buen producto y cumple con las expectativas básicas
• Watch is nice, has structured training capabilities, but GPS precision is bad, takes too much time to update speed and pace while running when doing intervals. If you want precision go for a suunto or garmin. I use it for training now, but when racing go back to my old suunto, it gives more precision in pace.
• 1st Garmin are just heavy, not really convenient compared to Wahoo Rval and very simple to operate.
