  • I can\'t recommend Garmin instinct more. I am very hard on watches and this one is still going strong. Very accurate, battery lasts almost a month and charges in a couple of hours. Rubber band is starting to wear down, but they are replaceable.
  • I wanted a sport watch to monitor all my activities. This one does. It is multi-sport and lets me track my walking, hiking, rowing, treadmill, indoor bike, outdoor activities, weightlifting, PT, etc. There are 26 sports to cover. I found this had a bit of a learning curve. FIRST: when you click on open activity, or close activity - BE PATIENT! I expected instant stop and kept pushing buttons while the watch was still thinking. My bad! It takes a few seconds!!The sleep monitor feature is as accurate as it can be I think. You have to wear your watch for 2-3 hours before sleeping for it to get a baseline. It has helped me to see results from not using phone/tablet/TV in hours before bed and cutting out caffeine (iced tea) after 3 PM. The Garmin Connect phone app is very nice - full featured and I refer to it each day.I wear mine all the time - only have to charge it once a week or so, and it takes about 1-2 hours max to get to full charge. I charge it while I am taking a shower and getting ready to start the day. Charging does not interfere with my schedule at all.Another plus: as I have worked into my workout programs, I am seeing my heart rate drop from resting 88 to resting 78. How accurate is it? Shrug... but the relative drop is significant I believe. Lower resting rate = better shape, which is my goal. I can slow down on the stairmaster when HR goes above my max - it vibrates on my arm with message \"high heart rate alert\" - Nice. Also, LOL, it does tell me every two hours to MOVE if it senses I\'m reading or sedentary. Funny story: it said move, I walked around house for 20 minutes and actually got a GPS printout of my living room! LOLIt does give me the option to add custom workouts but I have not used that feature yet. I am still a little bit intimidated by how powerful the watch is.One weird thing: sometimes weightlifting is reading my arm movements as steps. Walked 8000+ steps according to watch but I know I did NOT walk that many. I did, however, spend over 75 minutes in weightroom doing chest/arm/back/free weights. This is a known issue if you google it. Not sure how to interpret?....All in all, this watch is pretty darn cool, very helpful and I am glad I got it as it has helped me see trends that are reinforcing my hard work.Suggest viewing all the youtube videos for learning - the info that comes WITH watch is MINIMAL!Good purchase.
  • Love my garmin. Beautiful color, does everything I want it to and more.
  • My 4th smart watch, but the first one that actually works. (OK...the fist one was a real cheapo, the second had a 2 hour battery life, and the third was a refurb with no blue tooth..) But this (older) model seems to be the solution. And Garmin\'s customer service is amazing. I spoke to a CSR who spoke English and walked me through everything. (Turns out the problem was with Virgin Pulse, but that is fixed as well). Thank you, Garmin.
  • I returned one damaged by dogs and was sent another. I like the color. I chose the garmin for it’s water resistance, ecg, sleep monitoring. I am still getting to know the watch. The small text is unreadable to me especially at night. I’m not sure what I’m going to do yet. I may have to return for one I can read. I really like it other than the small text problem.
  • Live the colors and size of the face. It has a lot app( I haven\'t used yet) the few times I\'ve worn the watch I have been working out in the heat, what I\'ve found is that the silicone band slides a lot. So far that\'s only down fall. I ended up getting a dif band (2nd pic)and just love it!
  • Excelente producto
  • I had an instinct but decided to try a Fitbit and the fitbit pales in comparison to the instinct. It’s a great rugged fitness watch with a no frills attached app that does give you fitness insights but is easy to navigate. Buy the Instinct, you won’t regret it!
