- Works well once set up. Because of its sophistication, it can be difficult to use
- Should\'ve just used my cell phone for navigation, the only thing good about this at all was the satellite messages when my cell didn\'t have service, other then that, the much cheaper models will serve you much better. On my hunting trip after we tagged a deer, I needed to run back to camp to get a better flashlight, it was 2 miles away. The topographic map is terrible and I couldn\'t get it to show the actual terrain. If I tilted it slightly the arrow would spin around causing me to walk in circles and almost of the side of a cliff. Basemaps app on your phone was far better. This is trash, expensive, and almost worthless. Don\'t bother. Hey a smaller Garmin that connects to your phone for satellite messages if you want, but as a gps it was trash. I returned it immediately after I got back. The picture attached is the gps walking me in circles in the pitch black night in the middle of nowhere.
