• Works good you have to put in on your reservoir but it will stay. Make sure to put anti seize on the threads before you install.
• This is a decent unit and does what I want it to.The one thing to bear in mind though...As a few others have reported this does tend to loosen up, so if ya think your device is moving around on ya it probably is.To handle that keep an appropriate wrench with ya. It just takes a few quick turns and a couple minutes to tighten this back up & good to go for another 5k+ miles, maybe permanently.
• Awesome mount! Extremely easy to install and rock-solid. Installed a short extension to the mount and chose to use a Quad Lock phone mount and case. Super easy to use and no movement or need to readjust once you get it where you want it. Really easy to adjust if needed. Highly recommend.
• I purchased this mount to for my BMW R1150 GS motorcycle. The mount comes with everything you need except for tools. The mount is NOT an additional reservoir cover, but instead a plate shaped similarly to the cover that mounts above the cover using the covers screw holes and longer screws. The kit actually came with 3 sets of screws of differing lengths. The packaging tells you to be sure to use anti-seize compound on the screws. THIS IS NOT OPTIONAL! One of the screws holding my cover on has refused to come off. I mounted the mount base using just 3 screws for now and its working great. Eventually I\'ll need to get that other screw out and finish the installation job. I purchased and used a generous amount of special anti-sieze. Apparently the bikes prior owners had used some, but either forgot this screw, or didn\'t use enough on this screw.
• Better than described, excellent quality.
• I purchased this with a couple other RAM pieces to hold my Samsung Note 8 phone while riding my Motorcycle - it was easy to install, is solid, and holds firm. I did use the anti-seize on the threads of the screws as they recommend just in case I ever want to take this off and replace down the road (which I doubt I would ever have to).
• This doesn\'t for the Honda Rebel or a Suzuki Burgman and now the return window is closed....freaking figures
• The mount works as described, and easy to attach. The only problem was is that the screws supplied didn’t have the right length, so I had to shim long scerws with small flat washers to get the right length. Yes, I could have cut the bolts, but I already had the washers on hand, so much easier.
