• It should be noted that (probably by design) they cover the power inlet on the Garmin InReach Mini2 device… but when mine needs repowering it’s very easy to slip the cover to the side and simply repower it. I suppose if it were critical to a user to have access to the power inlet plug constantly, one could simply take some kind of hole punch or carefully use a box cutter or use some other tool to create constant access (for instance if one wanted to mount this to a backpack or whatever thing that held a portable battery and one wanted constant power to the Garmin, then that would be easy to do…In any event I’m pleased with mine.
• Overall, I like the case. The one drawback of these cases is that you have to take it out to charge it. I decided to cut a rectangle hole opposite the SOS button so I can simply open the cap and plug in to charge it without having to remove the whole case.
• Fits snugly around the Garmin Mini 2. It has to be removed in order to charge it.
• This fits like a glove. I was initially concerned about getting to the charging port without completely removing it from the device. It stretches down from the bottom fairly easily so no need to removed the strap and belt clip every time. It also washed up like new after getting covered in dirt and grime.
• This protective case is easy to put on and take off. You need to remove it on the bottom in order to recharge the Garmin Mini.
