I purchased this tracker to replace another brand. One of the reasons I picked Optimus is for their customer service. I was not disappointed. The tracker was easy to install and hide and it worked right away. Their website and phone app are straightforward and easy to use. Will be buying my second one soon.
Excellent tracking. Catches all the stops turns and speed.
I hope it works. First, it came with the smallest instructions I\'ve ever seen. I didn\'t even realize that they were instructions at first. I eventually got everything connected correctly and it has a flashing green light which, according to the instructions, means that it is searching for cellular network. That\'s great, NOW WHAT!! Nowhere does it tell you how to fix this issue and I can\'t find any help on the website either. My cell phone works great so I can only assume that it is looking for a different network but I have no way of knowing how to remedy the situation. Also, the description states that it comes with 2 Scotchlok Tap Connectors but it does not. This would have made the installation a lot easier.
My wife\'s car has a dealer installed LoJack and I wanted it for my car, but the option for that is no longer available.Bottom line, this GPS Tracker is easy to install as long as you are patient with wherever time it takes if you really want it hidden. I installed mine under the plastic area of my dash and ran the fuse wires to the fuse block and used a fuse tap to simplify the connection.The Mobil app is easy to use and GPS accuracy is within 50 feet. Setting up Geo Fencing is much easier if you use the web interface from your computer. One note of important. Be sure you use at least six point for the Geo Fencing. Only using four will give you incorrect entry and exit information.I would recommend this product to anyone wanting a vehicle GPS Tracker that can be installed hidden and on 24x7.
If you aren\'t electrically and mechanically inclined TAKE IT TO A PRO. There are no installation instructions as it is meant for someone who knows what they are doing, and it is an easy installation if they do. The bad reviews I read upfront were about this issue. I went ahead with purchase as I am qualified and intended to install myself.I am pleased with the operation of the tracker. It is constructed well, proper size for installation and hiding. Easy to activate and reasonable monthly plan. It does what it says it will. The Geofence is very easy to setup which was my main reason for wanting the product and it does a lot more. This is an excellent choice as it is an excellent product. That\'s hard to find.
Unit lasts for a few hours after battery is disconnected.Very accurate tracking and very fast updates.Tracked my truck on a 120 mile trip with ease.I got this primarily for theft recovery. My last truck was stolen and stripped. Now I have an extremely accurate way to find my truck if it\'s stolen again and notify the police to bring the thief to justice.
Overall I like the product. It was easy to set up my account and get both trackers working for both my vehicles. But the gps has proven to be as much as 100 to 200 yards off so if you are looking for exact addresses of where your vehicle is, maybe. When the two vehicle are parked side by side it shows them across the street from each other. Overall good product and easy to use. I wish there was a recalibration button on them
Extremely easy to install and activate. Accurate tracking data with easy to use apps. I called their support/sales line before ordering. They were extremely helpful in answering my questions. The service plans are the most affordable I found when researching. They don’t offer different service level packages. Just straightforward pricing for everything. There is discount pricing available for prepaying up to a year. Very satisfied and I will be getting more for all of our company and personal vehicles.
