- This is a solid screen protector, especially for the price and compared to competitor products.The kit comes with everything you need to install the protector. I personally did not use the wet wipes they included because Tesla\'s screen cleaning instructions advise to avoid wet wipes. I think the reason is touch screens usually have an oil-resistant coating that can be stripped by alcohol-based cleaners. In any case, I just used a lint free cloth to wipe down the screen to prepare it.I really appreciate screen protectors with installation brackets like this one. It is a lot of waste, but hopefully recyclable...either way, it is better than the frustration of trying to align a protector, especially a large one like this. In the case of this item, the alignment was pretty good. The instructions are only OK...it is obvious when you\'re installing it, especially if you\'ve done anything like this on a device ever before, but it seems like they could do some work clarifying the steps. For example, the instructions don\'t tell you to remove the back plastic to expose the adhesive. It is obvious, but seems like they should just add that as a step. Like step 3, for example...sure, I can be aware of the distance between the frame and the screen, but why is that a step? I did it in one try and the corners are pretty well-aligned, everything is level, and the protector is smooth and clear. I did have to use the bubble remover tool to push out the air, but it was easy.Speaking of clear, I\'ve tried protectors that are \"anti-glare\" and although technically they do reduce glare, they aren\'t really my favorite because it diffuses the glares across a larger area on the screen, and they reduce the sharpness, clarity, and contrast of the display quite a bit. I\'ll go with the clear protector for now and maybe my opinion will change over time.
- This product is of good quality and is highly recommended. Installed it on my wife\'s model Y and it looks great.My 2 cents below:Pros:- Screen looks fine. The touch does not deteriorate at all and it looks clean and clear- Matte finish gives the screen a nice look- Glue is strong- All wipes and needed items are included- Good screen coverageCons :- These are definitely expensive compared to other competitive options & taking away one star for this reason
- This is a super easy to install, it comes with the installing frame, all I had to do with clean the screen, like up to top of the screen with the frame, and that’s it. Everything lined up perfectly, and no bubbles at all. The glass is a matte surface, which reduce the finger prints. Do keep in mind, the video images does get affected a little bit, due to the matted finish, not super crisp. I don’t mind, it’s still clear enough for me to see. I highly recommended for Tesla owners. Side note, I do feel a bit guilty with all the plastic trash it produced. The frame, film, tape and etc. I hope they can come up with more eco friendly designs.
- This took about 15 minutes to install. I did it on my lunch break. It’s a good screen protector and I’m happy I ordered it. It kinda looks like an iPad screen protector at first glance when it comes in the mail. If you’re interested in protecting your screen from scratches I recommend it.
- This Ravol Screen Protector works great. It looks great and gives me that added protection for my screen. Touch screen still works fine -no impact. Installation was similar to putting a screen protector on my iPhone - very easy.
- The price is on par with the major brands in this category. Install was very easily and took less than two minutes. There is a nice video on the product page that shows you exactly what to do. Install was without issue and so far it has remained pretty clean and fingerprint free. Definitely less than the plain glass. So far, I think it’s a worthy addition to my car, but maybe it makes the screen a tiny tiny bit less clear. All in all, recommend.
