- I recently got a used Icom IC-2820H radio, but it didn\'t come with the GPS antenna. This is a perfect fit, and it works as expected. I never saw the original GPS antenna that Icom shipped, but this one feels like it was made for this radio.
- This works flawlessly to use my 2008 Chevrolet Impala built in Sirius antenna with my older Sirius radio. Unlike the magnetic antenna I had on the car, this wire allows me to utilize the built in antenna on the car that is designed to work much much better. No more signal drop outs! Just ran this wire behind the trim and through the back seat opening back to the passenger side of the trunk. The Sirius unit is located behind the passenger side tire in the trunk.
- The 4 antennas are arrived in Italy one day in advance then the 4th october as planned.I\'m just try ones of them connecting to the transceiver an icom ic-2820e, in the evening is difficult to receive the satellite signal in a short time, by the way signal received fixing satellite and all function as well.Happy about the antenna, in order to replace the original one to difficult to find an original one due to the fact that the radio is old, but still valid, i hope that also the other 3 will function without problems.
- This antenna worked the first time I plugged it in, but it didn\'t work any after that. I am sure some people have had better luck than I did. They accepted my return. The magnet was very strong and worked well. Also, the cable was VERY long, so if you\'re planning to mount it close to where it plugs in like I needed (Ford SYNC 3 headunit), the coiled up excess cable might actually take up too much space for everything to fit nicely.Ended up ordering the one from uxcell which has a shorter cable and looks nicer with the fabric tape. That one is still working.
- Instead of replacing my Audi sharkfin GPS antenna which had failed (dealer wanted $800), I simply unplugged the oem antenna on the back of my radio. Then plugged this replacement gps antenna into the back of the radio and found a snug spot for the receiver above the glove box and just under the dash. Worked perfect. Hard to beat for the price. $10 solution that works as good as the dealer\'s $800 fix!!!
