- After spending hours looking a different products this product is exactly what I needed: an affordable, 4G GSM, real-time GPS tracker to keep my kids accountable. I setup geofences and excessive speed alerts so I get text when drivers aren\'t behaving. I can also track live using the free app and review driving history. The device is a one time (but very affordable) cost, you\'ll need to buy a data and/or SMS cell plan. I\'m using a $7 a month plan from Tello (1 GB, 100 minutes and unlimited text). This is preferable to an expensive device with expensive monthly fees.At first I was a bit anxious about the setup. When time permits, I\'ll come back and provide some tips for US-based customers. I was able to install this with basic knowledge of 12-volt auto accessories. I\'ve installed a few car stereos in my time.I\'d given it five stars but there are a few reasons I couldn\'t: the SinoTrack app is a bit clunky and speed is measured in kilometers per hour with no option I could find to change to miles per hour for those of us who still haven\'t adopted the metric system it\'s kind of an annoyance. The instructions for install and setup could have been a bit better but were sufficient for my needs.I\'m using this product in a small SUV and there\'s no way that I\'ll need to have a water proof solution like this. Looking back I should have purchased the ST-906L GPS instead that has some extra features but isn\'t water proof.
- I set up my devise using an ATT sim card. (APN= enhancedphone). GPS tracker up and working great on mobile app and website. No other fees besides buying device and sim. If you needed a review to decide to buy this unit, here it is.
- Just set this up and so far so good. I know with any review time is the biggest factor. So I will post an update 6 months later but so far very pleased as it did not need apn config. It automatically picked up using speedtalk sim. You will need to activate your sim first then insert it into device. My battery was still charged so no need to wire yet. Love the fact you can add battery anywhere and it came with ignition cutoff relay!!
- Instructions were non-existent. Way more complicated than it looks. I bought two and both appeared used so I never installed them. Getting a compatible SIM card is also not as simple as it sounds.
- This item is great best ever for the price. I love it. You will not ever regret buying it. It works very well. And this is so true.I am just a simple lady from St.Lucia that\'s in the Caribbean.I am not getting paid to say this.So but itYou will love it just as I do.I will be buying more.
- if your looking for all the bells and whistles find a subscription these are good for location and tracking when they loose signal and come back on you can find your item. using on jet skis and one lake has no lte but when it comes off the lake i can find it and also see travel history..**** big down fall you can not change it to mph or miles. so for that you need to do the math***
- Right after you purchase it, search for \"magnifying glass \" and buy one of those to! That was my only gripe with this, the manual\'s print is so small, you need a magnifying glass to read it. Other than that, it was stupid easy to install and once I could read the manual.
- Poor battery life. It\'s not the two hours specified. You would be lucky to get 15mins even when it\'s connected to power and charged overnight.
