- Good product and can mount either sideways or upright. However the zip ties are a little weak. Mounting was easy and seamless. Although if you ever need to move it, you\'ll have to get new zip ties. Beyond the zip ties, no issues and GPS stays put while around town or on the trail.
- The mount I received almost fit my eTrex 32x but not quite. Given that the whole point of the mount is to secure your GPS to your bike and it can\'t effectively do that so I have to give it one star.If I push with enough force that I could break the GPS battery cover it will slide on but the snap doesn\'t fit into the groove so technically speaking it isn\'t fastened securely and would likely fall off on a rough ride. It looks like you could make it work by carefully shaving down the plastic a bit so it would slide on without a huge amount of force. Then using a heat gun you could heat the plastic enough on the snap end of the mount to bend it an appropriate amount so the snap would fit into the groove on the GPS. Unfortunately even after all that the snap doesn\'t have a flat edge (more like a triangular prism) to catch against the groove like official garmen mounts have so on a bumpy ride it likely would just push the snap up and allow your GPS to fall off.Others have stated that the snap isn\'t long enough which I guess is true but isn\'t exactly why the mount I received doesn\'t work. It looks more like the plastic is bent/molded incorrectly so the snap isn\'t close enough to the groove to get any purchase.I\'m currently getting a replacement and will update my review if the replacement works properly. If not I will likely try to modify it to work because there really isn\'t a better simplistic option to mount an eTrex GPS to a bike.**Update**I received a replacement which was a slightly better fit. I was able to slide my GPS into it without needing a ridiculous amount of force. Unfortunately the bend near the snap was still way off leading to the GPS not locking into place. I took a heat gun to it being careful not to overheat/overbend it and was able to bend the area with the snap just enough for it to work properly.
- I have the eTrex20. The idea and the mount itself is exactly what I wanted and the price is perfect! The cons are small compared to it\'s pros... the straps that came with the bracket were brittle (probably old or cheap) and broke easily. I had some of my own from the hardware store which work much better. Also, no matter how tight you have it, the mount will still roll just a tiny bit around the handlebars if you use some force - it\'s simply not the same as if you had a screwed-on mount. There is a rubber pad on the mount to prevent this, but it isn\'t sticky enough for my bike at least. BUT it holds the GPS nice and tight and the straps are easily replaced if needed! You don\'t have to worry about the GPS falling off and it\'s a much easier system to install/uninstall... and no parts that will rust!
- I have a oregon 650t and it sits perfect in it. I almost didn\'t buy this because of some of the negative reviews. Glad I got it because itll work perfectly for my application
- Simple and effective. Use double sided tape to keep it from rotating on the bar.
- At first time, I just try how it fit...It was way too tight to put in. And it is impossible to take out!! So I use fine sanding metal to scrub off touching surface very little to adjust from impossible to take off to still tight enough to take out. If this product want to hold tight enough, it should have some kind of lock system, rather than just crazy tight. Otherwise it works fine.
- This is the only bike mount I could find for the Garmin inreach and it works great.
- Really esy to use. Sure. I always run with an extra handling for security, but my GPS Etrex 20 never, never went out from this handler. 3 years after my first, it is my 2nd, for my other bike. And the best, PRICE!!!
