- Everything that would be in a new item box was in this shipment. There are no visible scratches, blemishes or items missing from the packaging. GPS unit was in its own box that was inside of another box that was padded. I can not really comment on use of navigation at this time but what I will say is I entered an address from my driveway that should have been a simple right turn at the end of my road and ending 15 miles away with no other turns needed. I was given the longest way possible. As always with any GPS use them for reference as to where you are and where you’re going do not rely on them for accuracy.
- This is a great gps. I’m a professional truck driver. This gps allows me to add stops such as truck stops or rest areas , that are in route to my final destination. It also tells you of time and speed changes. It tells you when you are approaching a weigh scale or state border. You can also store location. I find it a great tool to have.

- My friend is a truck driver and I picked this up for him. He gave me his thoughts to review.The screen is a great size and can be read easily even if it is on the dash. It is customizable based on your truck size, weight and cargo. Yes it does have options for hazardous materials. It is fairly good searching for addresses and truck stops and the navigation is clear.It comes with the suction mount and it is connected by magnets so you don\'t need to disconnect anything to remove the unit.It did need an update out of the box which was easily done by connecting to WiFi. The main map update was 6Gb. It rebooted a few times during the process.It does have options for cars and busses making this versatile. Would definitely recommend getting this.

- There are many welcome features of this latest Rand McNally GPS product it has a cleaner and crispier map layout, the GPS guidelines are not the thick crayon type lines of Rand McNally\'s past GPS systems and that is good! However, Rand McNally has been callously insensitive to numerous complaints about its female-only-voice for the device and that makes me inclined to believe that there truly is an Illuminati driven agenda to feminize the population because there is a female voice for every electronic product being purchased lately I am simply just not receptive to that level of discreetly forced feminization (I am aware of some studies purporting to claim that more people are receptive to the female voice but I believe that those studies are flawed to engineer an outcome; the female voice doesn\'t fit every situation and this is one of them-I liked my macho experience!)In all seriousness, the female-only-voice left me walking a tight rope as to whether-or-not to return the product but as of now I am holding on knowing that the product is programmable and that Rand McNally can make a male-voice download available when they want to. There are other minor annoyances to the product but to me they are tolerable compared to not having a voice choice!NOT MUCH BEATS HAVING A CHOICE!
