- Me encantó. Lo uso para diversas actividades diarias
- Update: SPOTIFY!!! Offline Spotify is now available and I just went for a run today testing it out and it works amazing! We been asking for this feature from Spotify for months and they finally came around! Thanks Spotify for making my garmin watch all the better!!I have a pretty small wrist and find the 5S a good size for me. Coming from an old garmin forerunner 610 and before that the forerunner 410 I been holding out switching watches when garmin added music to their fenix series. Battery life will last a few days if you turn off some of the smart notifications which was pretty annoying at first i.e. facebook, every call, every text, every email. It was a lot better on battery life when I turned most of that off. As far as using this for running it finds gps pretty fast (like 5 sec or less) and it\'s a nice to see all these new features on the unit. My only grip is that spotify isn\'t supported on this yet but I am sure this is on more spotify then garmin\'s fault. If you are looking for better battery life I would recommend getting the larger units if you are looking for slim and don\'t mind charging at least 1-2 times a week for running every other day and have small wrist go with the 5s. Overall the software is the same as all the other garmin watches. I also find that it doesn\'t get warm or at least I haven\'t noticed it getting warm like some of the other hard core smart watches. I think the price is what made me buy it from this amazon seller vs on the Garmin website. It was a difference of 40 dollars because of Garmin charging tax. Oh and if I was going to gripe about the something else it would be the price! but... it is a nice watch...
- Getting use to the product, not crazed about it yet but learning it’s multiple functions.
- My fenix 5s plus replaced an old Fitbit. I used the Fitbit to monitor three things: steps, sleep, and swimming. The fenix measures steps comparable to the Fitbit. I have not done exhaustive testing to see how accurate each is. But the fenix uses an adaptive goal - based on your history - or you can set your own goal, while the Fitbit only has the 10,000 step goal.Sleep is also measure by both, but I get more detailed data from the fenix. It identifies light, deep and REM sleep, while I only got whether I was asleep or not from the Fitbit.I have not swum with the fenix yet, but the Fitbit did not measure my swimming at all, even though it advertised that it did.In addition, the fenix has many features that the Fitbit does not.- It tracks heart rate at all times, though it recommends using a separate HRM for intense activities (required for while swimming). When I bike, its heart rate was significantly lower than my bike computer (w/ HRM) recorded.- It provides a stress measurement, with a stress reduction activity.- It connects to the Internet through a connected phone, allowing web-enabled features to be loaded onto the fenix.I keep discovering new uses for the watch. This week I found its timer control.
- I wanted it to pair with my Garmin 550 plus and my Dexcom G6 CGM.I was able to pair with the 550, but I cant figure out the Dexcom. It does have way more than I need.
- Ajustado a lo requerido por mi
- Awesome ….love it. Once you get it set up (don’t be afraid to call customer service if stuck - worth the wait - super helpful) Tried the larger version, too heavy for me. The S is nice - comfortable, used for golf / run / trail run / music …. Very pleased.
- The media could not be loaded. I got previously a Garmin Swim 2 cuz swimming pool is my favorite sport. I found that much interesting things that made me upgrade immediately to a Fenix 5s plus with a complete satisfaction. I\'m just missing the body battery 🔋 function that the Swim 2 version had in it, unfortunately the Fenix 5 doesn\'t shows HR monitor when swimming.
