- I attach this to a dash mount that I got for my 4runner and it works great. The only thing that I would do different, would be, I’d get a shorter one so it doesn’t impede my view out the windshield as much from where I mounted it.
- This mount does NOT lock phone into place. It does secure phone but allows phone to move while in place. I wanted a phone mount that locked my phone in place. Keeping it completely still.This mount allows a swiveling movement which can become annoying when using it in an off-road environment. Disappointed.
- Strong and reliable. Easy to setup and set in place. Very universal and fits my iPhone 13 Pro Max with ease and could accept even a slightly bigger electronic piece.
- you have to admit, it\'s built with quality materials. but the design is a bit frustrating. It\'s very hard to tighten the knob for the main shaft. cleanly the knob is designed for fingers, but it\'s difficult to finger in and tighten it.
- Wish I\'d\'ve purchased this years ago. No more fishing for my phone when it\'s popped out of the holder whilst I\'m on the road. Have it attached to my RAM Desk laptop mount in my truck. Added on a double ball adapter and a 2.42\" x 1.75\" low profile socket arm. Between the two arms and the double ball adapter, am able to position the phone in an optimal position for road travel. Leaps and bounds better than any mount I\'ve used in a vehicle.Currently, the phone I\'m using is a Samsung Note 9 *with Otterbox Defender case (which is a heavy duty case). The only issue I\'ve had is lining up the phone on the mount so it isn\'t depressing any buttons. Takes a bit of practices but it\'s do\'able. That\'s it, tho. My only problem (which I\'ve resolved).
- In my 4Runner there’s really no good place to keep my phone, the x-grip brings things up close and easy to reach and see.
- Rubber to lock in corners torn the 3rd time using it.
