- For the price, this bike computer is hard to beat. It provides all the data I would expect, and it has but a few shortcomings. This was a replacement for a Rider420, which suffers from a horrible button design and cheesey mount. The 750 corrects both of those issues. The handlebar mount is very sturdy and functional, and the buttons are pretty handy and intuitive.I like the software from Bryton. It provides more data than I expected, and it\'s hard (for me) to justify the cost of Strava premium. It allows good customization and I haven\'t had any problems with connectivity. I would mention that there are some settings only available on the unit, and some only in the app, and that\'s baffling but not a big problem. I have yet to get the time of day to set properly though.I don\'t really use the navigation features so I can\'t comment on that. I did follow a route I created in Strava once and it works, but did notice the lack of turn guidance if I was not on the map screen. It\'s nearly impossible to read the road names on the map as well due to the small size of the text. I have not found the brightness to be a problem in itself, but it would seem to border on too dim. I never ride outside of fairly sunny weather though. The only real shortcomings I found were poor HRM connectivity and SMS text message font size. The HRM connection has improved with warmer weather so maybe that\'s poor conductivity from the strap to my skin. But there should definitely be a text size option as the font as provided is WAY to small for my eyes.A last criticism is that the swipe feature of the touch screen is not sensitive enough. Even being mindful of the issue, I often have to swipe a few times to move between data screens. Conversely, I can swipe up and down almost too easily.A suggestion I would make to Bryton, in addition to fixing these items, is to provide an option to cycle between data pages. It would save almost 100% of swiping between screens for me which is distracting and sometimes risky if there is traffic.Overall, I\'m very happy with this device and I feel I saved a lot of money by not paying for Garmin.
- Bought this product instead of the iGPSPORT iGS630 Bike Computer. Reason was the iGS630 reviews on the Internet stated the instructions were not clear and navigating the app was awkward. So I paid more because I like things simple. The Bryton instructions are horrible. Text is very difficult to read- needs a magnifying glass. Writing not clear, omits sufficient detail, assumes the reader understands the writer\'s intent.Cannot get the Heart Rate to show and can find not instructions about HR.Went on the Bryton web page for better info. The Rider 750 is NOT shown anywhere that I can find.Seriously considering returning the 750 and buying the iGS630. Cannot be more aggravating than the 750 instructions and will save some dollars. Will provide more comments after I use the device.
- Full disclosure, this is my first bike computer, so I\'ve never tried any others. That being said, this delivers everything promised. I use it on an electric bike btw. I have the cadence, speed and HRM installed and working every time with no connection issues. I don\'t use the maps, so I can\'t comment on that. But as far as connecting and working right out of the box, its been flawless. I would say accuracy has not been a problem, my heart rate goes up and down quickly based on how I\'m peddling, cadence and speed is right on also, maybe a very slight delay, but not enough to make a difference. I would bet other computers also have very slight delays too. As far as battery is concerned, I don\'t ride long enough to even put a dent in it. I can ride several times a week and never charge the battery, seems to last much longer than a user could ever ride. This thing is pretty flawless. I\'m going to purchase another for a nephew, very pleased with this unit. Only time will tell how long it lasts.
- Did my homework on which bike computer to buy next after my 3 year oldGarmin1000 died. Also had Garmin headlight that lasted 2 years. Both of thesewe’re not cheap machines and didn’t last very long. Also the battery life on the edge 1000 was very poor.I bought this Bryton 750e and I have to say it has all the features of the garmin at half the price. The battery life is unbelievable. I think you can get 15 to 18 hours no problem.Very happy with my Bryton.
- I had high hopes, I could never get the speed and cadence sensors to connect, Bryton CS returned a response email three days later, which stated for a prompt resolution I should return it through Amazon and possibly order another one. Frankly, having an issue like this didn\'t instill confidence and their product so I went in a different direction. From other people\'s reviews it seems like a good product it\'s just was a fail for me.
- Very pleased with my purchase. Lots of data to review.I find it to be very accurate.
- I use it in Costa Rica all the weeks with my sram xx1 axs transmission and works perfect! Don’t waste your money buying garmin with bryton you will have exactly the same
