Key Finder with Thinner Receivers & Advanced Fabric Remotes, SIMJAR 80dB+ RF Item Locator with 131ft Working Range, 2 RF Transmitter & 6 Receivers
- On my Roku remote it was a little difficult to decide how to attach it, the sticky pads they come with are not great, but I ended up tying it to the fabric loop on the remote and now my remote just has its own little ornament
- This product is great to own when you have so many remote controls, not to mention you have an extra remote on standby in case you need it.Only downside to this product is, it’s side which makes it a bit too bulky.Overall love this product and wouldn’t stop recommending this others
- These had the smallest receivers I could find. Nice having 2 transmitters, one for home and one for car
- Works great
- There is nothing worse than trying to find keys right before you want to leave. This will help you find that and like items hopefully with less stress. This is a lower tech way than more expensive options. There is no GPS tracking or features for a smart phone integration. The simplicity does not take away from the functionality.Setup is really easy. All you have to do is put batteries in and everything works right out of the box. There is absolutely no programming required. The only planning needed is where to attach the tags and the placement of the remote so it doesn\'t get lost too.As for range and volume, these are all seemingly adequate. During testing, it was put under a couch cushion and it was heard. I was able to have a tagged item on the opposite side of the house and the remote triggered the noise. The only drawback that I have noticed is that the tags are slightly too big for some items. I wanted to attach a tag to a remote and it was a little bulky. I am sure eventually one would get used to it. It is just a preference. It is my opinion, when a tag can be attached with a key ring, that is the best option.
- So far this has been handy for locating the remote control to the TV. We also put them on my husband‘s keys (which he often loses). Of course, having put these on, he has proceeded to fail to lose the keys, so we don’t know if they’ll work well for that yet.The range isn’t quite as far as we would like, and they don’t beep quite as loudly as we had hoped, but overall so far we’ve been happy with it. As for battery life we haven’t used it long enough to know yet. I will update this review if it turns out to be disappointing.
- The receivers are the perfect size to put on your keys, about the same size as the loyalty cards you already have on there, just a little thicker. I had planned on putting one on my husbands earbuds case since that goes missing 2-3 times a day, but they are a little too big for that in my opinion. They work well and do transmit throughout my house, from the basement to the second floor, but they could be louder. From the first floor to the second floor I could barely here the beeping so it was hard to know the keys were upstairs without going up there and pressing the button on the remote again, but once on the same floor it was easy to track them down.
- My husband loses his wallet almost daily and we were able to slide a receiver into the inside of there and my sanity is slowly being restored. We have also attached these to the remote and car keys, which are other frequent hiders in our home. These are easy to use and a simple solution to the \"have you seens.\" My only two wishes are that they were a little louder, and that we had gotten them sooner!
