- My main complaint about this unit is that you need an amplifier to boost the radio signal into the unit.I\'m also having difficulty getting zlink working I don\'t have an apple phone.
- I very rarely write reviews on products but I felt compelled to write a \"day one\" review. When I found this product it seemed a bit too good to be true. Generally when a product costs significantly less than you would expect, there is a reason. I went into this purchase with a lot of hesitation, but thought.. for such a small investment I would give it a try. My initial take on this product is... WOW!Things I Like:1. The fit and finish of this product is fantastic. Perfect Fit for a 2010 Subaru Forester2. Ease of installation was fantastic. I had this installed in about 20 minutes. (Minus Rear Camera)3. You have to scroll through the menu to get to apps then zlink but once there.. you are right into CarPlay4. The sound matches factory sound5. My steering wheel functions work perfectly after programmed.Things I don\'t care for as much:1. Wish I could dim the screen more for nighttime driving2. Wish I could modify the screens to put zlink on the start menu3. Phone sound quality is averageIn summary.. I wanted to add Apple CarPlay to the vehicle and would say that this product exceeded my expectations.. I will follow up with my install (when I get to it) of the parking camera and long term review.
- Easy install, great looks and performance. Some setting need to be set up to you preferences to make to unit work flawlessly. If you have any questions they will respond to emails and always help you. They send me a apk file to be able to fully customize the screen
- Item came with all needed to install including wire harness for subaru , no cutting of wires needed. Bezel doesn\'t snap in cleanly at top corners but looks great if you don\'t scrutinize.There is a bit to much base and i haven\'t been able to adjust. Some bluetooth devices are seen but radio refuses to pair. Not sure why
- This was incredibly easy to install. Plug and play. Everything works exactly as it should. The sound may not be the best but I was more interested in the GPS navigation.
- So easy to hook up. No snipping of wires or soldering required. Still haven’t hooked up the backup camera, but I’m very impressed with the radio so far. For CarPlay under $200, this deal can’t be beat. Makes my 2010 car feel like a 2023.
- Customer service was very good. Had some issues that ended up resolved in the end.
- I purchased this for my 2010 Subaru Forester and it fit perfect. The car had no Bluetooth so we needed a FM adapter and it was a pain in the A**. I would recommend this radio to anyone, install took about 30 minutes and it connected to my phone with ease. The wire harness was a perfect fit, I had to use the original antenna because the supplied antenna connection did not fit correctly. I have no problems getting radio stations with old antenna. The screen is bright and easy to use. Appl@ Car play (android as well) connects wirelessly. Remember you have to use ZLINK to connect, it is an app on the 3rd screen. No need for the extra MIC, when people call no issues hearing the driver.. Great buy great price...would def buy again
