- I used this guy on one of those marine vacuum suction cups (holds 120 lbs!) with a ram mount long arm and a mob armor tablet plate to make the perfect windshield mount for my iPad 8! I\'ve used the scosche magic mount on my phone for years and love the quick release of it, but most of the iPad mounts I\'ve seen seem to have just a plastic tray that has to be the right size for the tablet and iffy suction cups. I need a solid solution since I enter excavation sites on a daily basis and I haven\'t had this guy budge at all. It stays where I put it until I move it and hasn\'t let me down since I assembled it!
- I\'m using the base on a side of a steel framed table to hold up a Galaxy Tab S7+ with a relatively heavy case (on another magnetic mount).The tablet is connect to the Arkon magnet via:6 inch aluminum arm -> Plastic 25mm to 17mm ball adapter -> 6 magnet phone mountZero movement from the magnet on the table frame. It\'s holding up a decent amount of weight.The mount uses 6 small magnets. I wish it used 1 large circular magnet instead. I also wish the ball mount they use was a bit beefier. It feels like the thread adapter might rip out the plastic ball. Lastly, Arkon needs to state what the weight capacity is on this magnet.Otherwise, this is a solid product.

- It will hold any camera, so a gopro or an iphone 13 pro max is safe with this magnet.
- Okay, for what this thing is, it works great. It\'s adheres very well to the outside of my vehicle, and held my little action camera just fine when offroad. So, no problems there... however...I use this as a magnetic mount for my cell phone. I use a Ram mount in my vehicle, and this makes quick work of a \"phone mount\" for me. LOL! It\'s just a little too big for that, but when the phones on... it\'s awn!
- This only works for me in the vertical positionsince when I try and hold a phone with a Ram attachment, it unscrews. I would have preferred this as one solid piece. The fact that the ball screws on here means any weight added to the left side causes it to fall since it loosens
