  • K-Edge mounts are just the best in the biz.They are beautiful, functional, and last forever.Plus, why use some plastic crap on your $8,000 bike. Get a proper mount.And in the even that you crash, this little insert will brake and save your computer.Lastly, if you move from Garmin to Wahoo or Sigma, just get a new K-Edge insert instead of a brand new mount.Worth every bit the extra $ for made in the USA.
  • The authentic ones have KEdge in the plastic cast in the center. They also have the Garmin quarter turn entry notch at the topb and bottom of the mount, in line with the screw points. The first item I received was used junk. You can see the lack of branding, screw mounts at a 45° from the quarter turn notch, and obvious user modifications in the center and hole punch in the plastic at the top.I did a cancel and reorder and got the correct part, but beware and double check for authenticity.
  • The part did not fix my brand of out-front mount because the diameter was too wide. I shaved it down by putting it on a bolt and turning it and shaving on a drill. It now works perfectly.
  • Product seems fine as is. The problem is when you break the plastic insert (which you should…rather than break the Garmin). There is no place that has a replacement insert available anywhere. K-edge’s replacement doesn’t fit. You might as well buy the more expensive K-edge than this item and just have to throw it away. If there’s a replacement (seller) LMK and I’ll buy one.
  • This insert is an exact replacement for the piece that broke on the mount for my Garmin Edge 500. It even includes the 2 screws with thread lock already applied to the screws. The wind knocked my bike over and when I saw the GPS laying on the ground I was a little pissed about the mount breaking. Then I discovered the mount was doing exactly as it was intended and the GPS is still okay.
  • I bought this so I could install Garmin Varia on my commuter bike\'s bike rack. This little piece of magic did the trick. If you need to stick something with a Garmin mount somewhere - This does the trick.I was lucky enough to have a plastic adapter where I easily screwed this onto (and used some epoxy for good measure), but I\'m sure you can make this work for almost any application requiring a Garmin mount and a flat surface.
  • This fits but I\'d recommend Tunista 2-pack. (see link below) For the tunista you will need to resuse the original screws for that to work.this one would have been fine if they supplied correct screws and nuts that fit. Almost, but unless you hack something not work your time.
  • Broke mine while riding my bike this was a perfect replacement for Garmin 530.
