I hesitated to order at first because I wasn\'t sure if I would get the product I wanted with all of the components (it\'s a bundle and not all were included in the description. However, it\'s was the exact bundle and watch as listed on the Garmin site, and it arrived super fast. As far as performance, still checking all the features out. It is their top of the line running/tri watch and performs as such. Love the larger display for visibility and data rich screens compared to the 745 and the Fenix 6s pro. The only thing I am bummed about is the music option. I mainly listen to Audible and Kindle books and podcasts and although the watch supports Amazon music, I don\'t think I can download Amazon books/podcast files or perhaps I have not found how to do it yet. If it does, it will be hands-down the best sports watch available.
Watch is great the charging system is horrible. It wil be great at first, just to leave you frustrated. When you contact Garmin about the concern, they will do nothing. I’ve been through 4 charging cords at this point and now it doesn’t charge at all. Buying the Apple Watch as we speak. My friend\'s that train with all have the same issues. It’s a flawed design they have zero intention of fixing And I’ve made multiple attempts to get it resolved.
Could have gotten one of the many variations of the Garmin Edge, but got the FR945 for its versatility as a training computer, on and off the bike. The FR945 does as expected, it jus took a while to make it to my doorstep. While all the items I bought that same day from various vendors arrived at my mailbox on schedule, the FR945 still hadn’t shipped till a week later.
I have few watches but this one is my favorite. I tracks all I need for workouts, sleeping time, oxygen levels, you named. Very light, nice looking good battery life and charge super fast.
If non-runner it takes some time to establish FTHR and VO2 max, default is based on running, I do more cycling. Although suggested to wear at all times, battery goes about 4 days before needed recharge. Excellent menu choices for all sports/activities....even Pilates. Definitely several levels up from vivoactive.
So glad I upgraded from the 920xt to the 945 with music. Love the new stats I get with this watch. Better sleep monitoring, running data, and being able to have music loaded on my watch is amazing!!! Great price the bundle.
Garmin connect feature is great. I really like the running coach. I am not an experienced runner and it is helping to improve my running while helping to prevent injuries.Battery life is really good. I go several days between charges even when using it every day to track workouts.
