- I have the Vava 2k dual camera and the original mount came with a sticky substance. Long story short, that mount wobbled a lot and that sticky substance did not do well in the Florida heat and melted. To order a new one was pricey, so I found this product which came with a bunch of mounts and found the perfect mount. I was able to use the original magnetic part of the old mount with the new piece and so far very happy with the purchase!

- My dash cam kept on falling off the windsheild. I used this unit and it is up there for good.

- The product did work with my YI dash cam, but it took a little persuasion getting the bracket on. I believe the bad reviews may be due to the fir being a little awkward but once I got it in worked like a charm. Also make sure you install the sticky bracket by itself and wait at least 4 hours before adding the rest of the item.

- Lasted about a year and a half. The generic mount fit my dashcam appropriately. The ball head was always loose and could not be tightened to fit solidly. Heat would cause the suction cup to fall about once a month. In the end, it has succumbed to a slight bend in the soft membrane, preventing it from holding firmly onto any surface anymore. Good value, will not be buying another.
