KOM Cycling CM06 Quick Release GoPro Computer Mount for Wahoo and Garmin Bike Computers (Bike Mount Compatible with Edge 1030, Elemnt Roam and others) 1030 Bike Mount compatible with GoPro Accessories
- I bought this for my daughters bike so she can have her Wahoo Bolt on top and record XC races with her GoPro. I like it a lot better than what we used last year, which was just a generic handlebar mount for GoPro. That caused some of her videos to be slightly tilted in one direction as it could be adjusted left or right to accommodate different bars. This is a solid piece connected as close as possible to the stem so it’s locked in at a level position. We’ve only used it a couple times so far but it feels very sturdy and I’m confident neither device will fall off from regular use (crashes are a different story). We’ll use a tether on both devices just to be safe though.
- This product does what it says it will do. It\'s sturdy, although not the sleekest/streamlined design. I\'m using it to mount my Wahoo Element with a GoPro8 or a Cygolite Metro. I rode with the GoPro this afternoon and the video replays very smooth and stable. No camera shake.Instructions aren\'t included, so it took some time to figure out which adaptors to use and how to line things up so everything points forward. My first try ended up with the GoPro (using the bottom mount) facing 90 degrees to the left. All that said, set up took about 35-40 minutes.Good product for the price.
- I bought this for my Karoo 2 on my road bike. I use the Garmin mount adapter and it feels like it hangs on there pretty well. I don\'t have the right kind of mount for my flashlight but I have managed to attach it below using a silicone torch holder I grabbed on an auction site.I also ride gravel but I bought a cheaper aluminum mount for that purpose. I don\'t doubt the CM06 would work well but it\'s kind of expensive for what it is: a few screws and plastic parts. That\'s why I\'m only giving it 4 stars. It\'s a quality, well finished product but it\'s too expensive compared to other options.
- The quarter turn adapter below makes it easy/convenient to remove accessories for recharging.
- Purchased this to hang my GoPro Hero 9 on. It works very well. It is a solid product.
- I mounted a GoPro Hero 5 in a Luxebell housing to this mount, which I installed on an ICE VTX racing trike. On the positive side, the clamp area opens completely, so the clamp can be installed without having to remove other components. However, even tightened as far as I could, the mount dropped when I went over bumps or rough pavement. After about 25 miles of cycling, the mount vibrated off the arm to which it was mounted, sending my GoPro tumbling along the shoulder of the freeway. (There is a section of freeway in San Diego County where cyclists can use the shoulder). I like the mount, so I applied DAP RapidFuse to the bottom of the rubber, placed it on the mount, and then glued the KOM mount to the rubber. It\'s solid as a rock now. But, that didn\'t completely solve the problem. On rough roads or speed bumps the GoPro mount will start to turn out of the KOM arm, leaving the GoPro dangling precariously. Today, I purchased M3 x.5 20mm screws and replaced the hardware, so that the mount no longer swivels or comes off. I remove the camera by opening the back of the Luxebell housing. In sum, it makes a lightweight and adjustable mount for a GoPro, but it may take some work to get a firm mount, and it won\'t be removable if you want to ride fast over rough pavement.
- Funciona muy bien, he tenido bases similares, es está se sostiene la cámara con firmeza
- When reading the reviews, I saw a striking review made by Paul that when attaching the Wahoo Mount, the GoPro head will be in the wrong direction. So surely, I already knew he didn\'t know what he was doing, so I bought the product knowing that there would be a chance my GoPro mount would be in the wrong direction with a Wahoo computer.I received the product and attached the Wahoo Mount and yes, the GoPro mount did go sideways, but within a few seconds, I figured out you can rotate the GoPro mount with a Allen key (which is provided with the mount) to rotate it a quarter then to move the GoPro mount back in the right direction. (Bolts used to rotate the GoPro mount and wahoo mount on the bike mount in photos) Nonetheless, someone isn\'t very technical and is quick to say a product is faulty.Overall, the product is very sturdy and well made. For half the cost of most competitors it is a well worth product. (Most high quality products that have both Garmin/wahoo mount and GoPro mount are usually $60+, while products cheaper are too flimsy, this is definitely best bang for the buck.) In addition tools are provided to configure everything on the mount the way you want it. Product is made in Taiwan.
