Worked out of the box. Using it with Stradux but have not taken it flying yet.
I bought this to replace the intermittent internal SPS chipset that comes with the Stratux kit and was throughly delighted with its performance. Well worth the money.
Seems to work pretty good. I haven\'t been able to get it to work with Android though, which is what I bought it for.
Bought this as part of a Stratux construction, only got to use it a handful of times so far but it seems to work best when set up at a distance from the ADSB unit. I normally keep it attached by a rubber band to the housing but was noticing that I was getting better GPS accuracy on my iPad\'s organic GPS than I was through the unit. Next flight, I put some distance between the receiver and the ADSB unit and got down to 1m.
Everything is fine, except the puck does not have a magnet like it should.
I needed a GPS time source for a computer that had no internet access. This worked just fine.
After it\'s gets a fix, this device is extremely accurate. It\'s better than my BU-353, better than the Vk-172 and much on par with the Adafruit GPS Hat for the Raspberry Pi in terms of accuracy. Usually takes a couple of seconds to acquire the initial fix, followed up shortly by acquiring additional satellites for a more precise fix.
I was hoping it would work with MS Streets & Maps 2013 and windows 10. It wouldn\'t find the satellite and remained with a red dot in the center of the Atlantic Ocean.Nice device otherwise.
