  • A little hard to take my Oregon 550 GPS out of the mount but for a replacement for the Garmin original, which they no longer make, it is more than adequate. It allows more movement so I can swing it around to face me either driving or in the passenger seat which was a drawback of the Garmin. Time will tell if it\'s sturdy enough.
  • It works
  • I took a chance and bought this because it was cheap. My InReach Mini slides in and is compatible with the mount. That said, it\'s a tight fit. Clearly it\'s made for it but it grips it very tightly. I suspect with more use, it will loosen up the fit a little bit and sliding in and out of the mount will become easier.
  • I ordered this mount having been unable to find any other reviews online. It connects to my GPSMAP 62st with the backbone mount, but does not positively click in to place. It appears that the dimensions aren\'t quite right on this unit.
  • Good product. It worked fine for us. It held an Oregon 450 firmly in place. It remained attached to the windshield for 4 days. We were on a road trip through Nevada and Death Valley. Even when driving on bumpy Death Valley dirt roads the GPS stayed in place.
  • The production quality control on this knockoff item is clearly poor. The spine mounts for garmin devices that have them are the same dimensions where the spine mounts into an accessory. Seems like some people’s fit nicely, while plenty of others have major issues. The one I received falls into the latter category. The very first time I attached my InReach Mini to this mount, it would not seat properly and when I went to remove it, the cheap plastic of this part seized onto my device and could only be removed after using a heat gun and pliers. The garmin equivalent of this part is more money, but don’t risk it with this knockoff. For what it’s worth, the suction cup appears to work well, but that doesn’t make up for the rest of the mount being garbage.
  • Works great. Also comes with a lanyard and carabiner. I use when I travel with my Oregon 600. It is easier than traveling with Garmin Nuvi.
  • Bought this with high expectations only to be totally disappointed. While the base mount clips to my GPS just fine, what it will NOT do is suction cup to the window in such a way that the GPS is readable from the drivers seat. The angle of the windshield in ALL MY CARS, causes the GPSMAP64 antenna to hit the window and from there is CANNOT be adjusted so I can see it. I suspect that the OREGON/MONTANA, etc series WITHOUT the protruding antenna will work okay, but for my use this is getting round filed.. Says clearly it should work and perhaps if you have a jeep with a straight up and down windshield it might.. Good luck!
