Garmin eTrex 32x, Rugged Handheld GPS Navigator (Renewed)
- Great for hiking and hunting. Use to track trails and positions. Definitely gonna get Nother for my son.
- I would have given this GPS one star but Garmin makes good products, has a good reputation and doesn\'t deserve a terrible review. Plus, my lack of knowledge about handheld GPS devices might be to blame for my inability to get thing working properly.It\'s a solidly built device, as expected from Garmin. I\'m sure it works well but I simply couldn\'t get it to work correctly for me, even with my extensive understanding of mobile devices, computers, etc. So I\'m sure my nearly 70 year old dad would have beat it with a rock while out hunting after it frustrated him right over the edge of his sanity. He uses an Android phone and computers but I think the lack of intuitive controls on this device would have driven him crazy.Overall I\'m sure it\'s a great little gps, but it has the least intuitive user interface I\'ve ever tried to use. Since returning it I have tried several other similar devices and they\'re pretty much all the same. Though not quite as accurate as a GPS, we\'ll be sticking with using compasses and the HuntStand apps on our phones for navigating to our hunting spots.
- Instructions are not clear and interface is very hard to understand even with instructions.
- The screen is tiny and the software is wonky. You’d think Garmin could hire some Apple Programmers.
- Waste of money, eats batteries in just a few min. I’ve tried lithium, rechargeable and regular batteries. None lasted more than 8 1/2 min (lithium)
