- The lock is good for securing your air tag to any bag. The problem I had was when setting up a new code, you have to hold down the button like your life counted on it. I held the button down and proceeded to change the combination. I changed the combination and I guess I didn\'t hold down the button hard enough that when I was at the combination I wanted it didn\'t work. Then I go back to the default combination and that didn\'t work. I had to go thru every combination until it unlocked. So if you get this lock make sure to push down the button like your life counted on it and you should be fine.
- The AirTag was easy to install, and the combination on the lock was easy to change.The carabiner and lock is almost too big. It certainly stands out, you\'re not going to be hiding this. That could be a positive, it\'s clear that whatever you have it on is locked and it has a AirTag. That might deter some criminals, others will see it as something expensive/important that is better to steal. It also makes it clear where the AirTag is, so a criminal could remove it.AirTag\'s by themselves are IP67, so saying this is IP68 isn\'t adding that much more water protection.
- The AirTag holder is really nice. It\'s very well made with nice brass screw inserts and when you put your AirTag in, it\'s really in there. Had to use a blade to pry it out which you will have to do to be able to change the battery every year. But its waterproof, dust proof, and probably crush proof. In other words, it\'s sturdy. So, this set comes with a locking carabiner which again by itself is really nice. Easy to set your own combination code and works well. Now combining the 2 together is where I took a star away. The thickness of the carabiner binds with the AirTag holder. The 2 pieces don\'t seem like they were meant to be together as they really are from 2 different manufactures of products just put in a bag together. But for the money both are worth it, and I can think of great uses for each of the products, just separately.
- This item looks cool but the issue is that it’s very hard to set the trundles the way they have made the mechanism. So much so you have to hold it or steady it. Then press a tiny unstable button (constantly, it doesn’t hold once you hit it) Next with your third arm, set the dials to your desired code. The trouble is if you let up off the button at any point while trying to set the trundles, it will set a code you may not intend. I didn’t even realize and couldn’t weasel out the code it took. So I guess there may be a work around? However I just side stepped rhe hassle and exchanged.
- The metal is sturdy. There\'s a reset button to reset the combination whenever you want. Makes a good keychain lock or backpack lock for little things if you don\'t have an airpod. Maybe a similar sized spy camera would be cool to put in there. One way I use it is when I go shopping and put my keys/card wallet on my infant carrier in the shopping cart. This lock will connect my keychain to the seatbelt and prevent any passerbys from grabbing them while I\'m shopping.
- These little cases do exactly what they say they\'ll do. Would it me impossible to remove this tag if someone wanted to gank your suitcase? Surely not, but it will keep the honest people honest. My tags are hidden inside the liner of the inside of my suitcase, so they probably aren\'t going to be found for a while if someone grabs my bag. Considering they are not very expensive, would say worth the price. If you are trying to travel as light as possible, these will add a bit of weight, but can\'t make a hard case like this without some added weight.
- The air tag holder is good quality with all the screws and screw drover you need to secure it. The locking carabiner on the other hand is not the best quality. The latch seems a little loose and the numbers are hard to turn. I was planning to use each separately anyways, and the air tag holder will work well to protect the air tag.
