• The suction would always come off with the original Nuvi mount, when it would be hot out. So far, this mount and suction seems really solid and has not come off at all. The material of the suction seems like it is going to be much more reliable and stay put. Also, it\'s great to be able to move the mounting ball up or down, if I want to have it in a different position. And the arm extends more making it easier to use my Navi. Love it so far!
• So far so good. Like many have said I had issues with the included Garmin mount failing to hold beyond a few weeks. I\'ll update this if anything changes but so far so good. I\'m using with a DriveSmart 60 and so far it is holding a pretty good suction. To be safe I made sure the inside of the windshield was clean with alcohol and used water to initiate the suction. Much of the moisture has evaporated but suction is still holding strong. Fingers crossed. Regardless, I would recommend that if you have a nice GPS you set it in a place that if it does detach you don\'t end up with a broken GPS or damaged dashboard or interior.
• The good: sticks on the windshield well. It has seemed to hold up in the Texas sun better than Garmin OEM.The bad: the \"17mm\" ball (as is the standard size for Garmin) is a fraction too small in my opinion. It rotates around too freely so that when you use the touch screen it tends to move around. MY FIX: a few drops of Super Glue on the ball. (LET IT DRY before pushing onto the joint!). Seems to have dried to a far better fit so that it doesn\'t freely move around when you touch the screen. I really feel that the ball is just a hair or 2 shy of being a proper fit in ball joint.the ugly (cue the music): it is a much larger profile than the Garmin OEM. Which could be asset for many cars but might not be for others. Not really a problem for me but it is certainly a larger package/profile
• This product should be sold with every Garmin this holds and it is 10 times better.These are the best never comes off. If you want it to last never take it off once you are setup. So think where is the best place to place it the upper left hand corner of your windshield is probably the best.
• Stays put so far (2 weeks). Hasn\'t popped off, like the mount that came with my Garmin.

• The original mount that came with my garmin broke after about 2 years of using it so I needed a new one. This one is very sturdy and the suction is great. I haven\'t tried the cheaper ones but this was worth the price.
• This travelmount works so much better than the little, flimsy one that comes with the GPS unit. Suction is better and because of the curved arm, the angles that you can acquire are much more versatile.
