SAMSUNG Galaxy SmartTag Bluetooth Smart Home Accessory Tracker, Attachment Locator for Lost Keys, Bag, Wallet, Luggage, Pets, Glasses, 2021, US Version, Black
- Got this for my son\'s dog who occasional wonders off. The functions are great. Setting it up and using it are difficult. Navigating the menus is confusing, especially if you want to set more advanced features like sharing the tag with my wife\'s phone. My phone loaded the SmartThings app from Google Store but wife\'s phone would not. It did load from the Samsung Store. Apparently only one of the two will work. For my wife to also see the tag on her phone, she has to get permission from my phone as well as my configuring this to be possible. It was back and forth between the 2 phones. Sharing the tag with someone better be someone you can trust as they can track you as well as the tag.An amusing feature of SmartThings is a search for trackers that don\'t belong to you to determine if someone put a tracker on you or car or whatever.I did not enable the button push on the tag ringing my phone since I don\'t want the dog to ring me.
- it works... but not accurate at all...but I still use them in my car, atv, trailer, keys, the ones on my car keys can ring my phone, theyre useful, but not so accurate in the streets, like my trailer for example, it says \"spotted by nearby galaxy device\" but it never ever pin points the location its always like 50-100 feet away I would say... it will show it on one side of the street, then on the other side, its like its giving me the location of the device the spotted my tab, not the actual tab location. but still worth it.... better than the apple tags, apple tags are so easy to detect, it actually tells you theres a tag near by without you even trying to find it, not with android, I really like it, its more hidden. I say its worth it.
- I bought one and threw it in my own car for the off chance the car gets stolen. Its definitely NOT comparable to a live tracking gps tracker (that also have monthly subscription costs) - but its SOMETHING. I work for a utility company and threw another in a coworkers work truck without him knowing, and started texting him the street names of where he was at throughout the day everytime the tag was located. He eventually figured it out. Lol. But it was more to test how often the tags would actually get located by passing phones. It\'s not an on demand type of tracker - since u can only rely on the last time another phone happened to pass by and pick it up, but for the money I figured why not. Realize, it can be hours that pass sometimes before somone with the right type of phone, in this case Samasung phones, happens to drive past the tag if the tag is on a quiet street, and even on my 20 min commute to work maybe only 1 or 2 other phones find this tag on my local streets. Nice you can check on the battery level just using your phone too. So just know what your getting. It works, \"when it works\" but it\'s not as relaible as some people would want it to be. For the price, still worth it IMO.Edit- had a nice test for these. I just came home from a week long vacation, and left my car in an off airport parking lot near Newark Airport. Every day I\'d check to see if the tag in my car had been located, and since it\'s a busy parking lot - every time I had checked, the car had been located within the last hour. I had a second tag on the backpack I bring to work that stayed home in my kitchen. Everytime I checked, even the one in my house had be located by a passing phone within the last 2 hours. (I live on a somewhat busy residential road). So while they are not \'perfect\', it\'s still nice to know I stand a good chance knowing where my stuff is, and finding it if I ever had to. For the money I really cant complain. It worked good enough to know everyday that my car was still where I left it, even though I was on the other side of the country.
- I\'ve been hearing about these trackers for a few years now, so broke down and got one for our recent overseas trip to Spain. And since our bags never made it back home, all I did was check the tracker to find out they had made it to our second-to-last destination in Miami. That gave me a huge peace of mind, knowing they weren\'t lost in an other country! I just checked again and found out they made it to Tampa this morning, so we will be reunited soon. I synched this with my Samsung Galaxy 22 phone and it worked perfectly! Highly recommend this.
- easy to use, can see location history. is only made visible by other samsung phones though. wish it worked with all androids.
- I bought this to try and keep track of a suitcase on a flight from California to New York. It worked! I could also track it on the app as it came out on the luggage carousel. Very useful!
- Happy Wife, Happy Life....I guessSo my lady is always losing her keys, when I say always I mean it. Every morning we go through the same routine,I so I decided to put one of these on her key chain and set her up on her cell, it took some time for her to get the little light bulb above her head to go off...
- I can\'t report on its battery life as I haven\'t had the Tag long enough. ⚫👀
