- I have tried several trackers and found them expensive for the limited options provided.The Vyncs tracker has always been on point. I also added the faster refresh option which works perfectly.The geofencing is easy to use and alerts as stated. Auto maintenance, recalls and fuel level is also an excellent feature.I had this product in my car for a few years no and I love the accuracy, reliability and peace of mind it brings.And let’s not forget the excellent support. - Description was deceiving wording close together making it seem like the activation fee was included with the price of purchase!
- I wasn’t sure wether this device would work well because of it’s affordability. But after using it for more than a year I love it. I bought it for one of my cars and it has been super helpful in tracking what my family does with it when I’m not home.You can set zones and different alerts. You can also choose roadside assistance, it will alert you when your vehicle is low on fuel and also look for the lowest priced fuel stations. It actually has more features than I use. I definitely recommend this if you are looking for a gps for your vehicle.There is also a cable that you can purchase separately which will help in placing the device in a concealed location. But the car that I use it for is a small luxury sports car with limited space and the device blends in perfectly.
- So far everything is working great (one issue noted below), I could wish for better Trip functionality from the tracking screen though (explained below). Also note, this device does everything all of the other ones do, you just have to \"upgrade\" your account for an additional annual fee for each extra feature you add. (Compared to the device my co-worker uses, it still comes out cheaper to use this product, even with the \"extra\" costs added!)As such, I highly recommend adding the GPS 1 minute updates, 3min updates is only good if you are tracking a vehicle that constantly travels on interstates only. once the vehicle gets in to a town area, it is possible to completely miss a stop.My issue with the Trip screen, and only real problem is that my car is a hybrid, and when the electric engine takes over for an extended timeframe it causes the tracker to think the car is turned off. this stops a trip and then starts a new \"trip\" once the electric engine turns back on. As for what constitutes \"an extended timeframe\" I \"believe\" this is anytime the car is in electric mode DURING a GPS pole. So if the car slips to electric, then hops back to gas before the GPS updates, it does not break the trip up. This problem occasionally causes my vehicle to show 15+ trips in a day (in the worst case, and 4 or 5 trips on the good end) when it was only driven to work and then home without stops.
- Overall I would rate this product at 98 percent, you plug it in and it\'s ready to go.The version I have has only one minor flaw, it will have my vehicle parked in my neighbors driveway, then again it will be right on the money. Remember that the gps system on civilian level only has accuracy to 3 yards.But in my case I purchased the product for keep eye on the mechanical shape of my care, it constantly monitors how my car is doing. I can open app on my phone at anytime and check if I have any potential problems.Vyncs also has other models that have many other functions available,. Just do a search on vyncs gps tracker.If you have teenage drivers then this is a must have product, it will send you a text when the car is speeding, in addition you can set boundaries on a map that notifies you when your teenager leave a designated area. This is one of my favorite features.So it comes down to this, would I buy this service again, the answer is yes! I just renewed my service for another year.I love the fact that at anytime I can know how my car is doing. Peace of mind is a lot to get from vyncs gps tracker.
- Not only I can track my family vehicles but also statistics about mileage , consumption, speed , routes , etc etcI can easily monitor and receive text messages about what is happening with that vehicle.I have installed also two in the motorcycles , however doesn\'t work like in the cars . In the motorcycles only show the locations but not statistics and routes . I will talk to technical service to see why .
- Generally a good device to keep track of car location when wife is on her 3 hour multi-stop binges. However, I own a Toyota Hybrid and like Joel Perry get 40 trip reports on days like this. So I assume that Joel\'s correct about a new report being generated each time the electric takes over. I also notice occasional of positional lockups when I know for certain that car is moving. Several times it takes 10 minutes \"to jump\" to the new location 5 miles down the road. This didn\'t happen with the previous gas engine Toyota so apparently some bugs need fixing for hybrids. Most importantly, though, is the the parked locations are spot on as in today\'s world I want to know the last known location should the car or wife disappear.
- Product is great could use some work on the mobile app seems to crash when entering fuel and geo fencing portion cannot get that to work. Overall the system is good price is great and no monthly fees. It notifies me every time the speed limit has gone over it.
