• This works GREAT! It doesn\'t stick out far like my old one did. Would buy again!
• Bought to replace a broken charger for my Garmin Nuvi 50. This worked fine for about two months before developing a short and needing to be replaced.
• Nice low profile power cord. Feels of good quality. Fit my garmin Nuvi 50 perfectly. Using on a 2022 klr 650. Original garmin plug stuck out really far and interfered with my handlebar cables. Problem solved, would definitely recommend.
• My original nuvi power/traffic cord separated right where it attaches to the 90` plug. Under the black casing is a very small strand of wires covered in insulation (this is the power supply). Surrounding this insulated strand are numerous uninsulated wires (these provide the ground). It\'s very similar to a coax cable. I use this device all day in my work vehicle and didn\'t want to loose the traffic feature. The traffic \"receiver\" is located just below the 12v plug end. This cord, although smaller in diameter, is exactly the same as the original! I cut it about a foot back of the plug and connected like for like to my original cord and now my nuvi works like new! I work with wires/wiring in my job, so start to finish was less than 2 minutes!
• Works with my Garmin nuvi 1490. It is tricky finding a power cord cable that works with nuvi GPSs, because they require a proprietary mini-USB connector that contains a special resistor. This power adapter works! I ordered two different brand power adapters from Amazon to make sure I got one that worked. This one worked. The other brand did not, so I returned it. I\'m only giving it four stars, because I just got it and don\'t know about its durability.
• The part that plugs in is very small and a little difficult to pull out...make sure not to use the cord to pull it out as it could be tempting. The cord may be a little thinner than the original cord too, and lacks the round \"toroid\" thing that supposed to filter out interference. With all the things it seems to lack, I still like it...Why? it freaking works :) I bought another before hand, it looked awesome but it put my GPS into computer mode (showed a computer symbol on the GPS and would do nothing else) good luck

• This cigarette plug charger/power cord is the perfect solution for the issue I (and many Harley riders) have. Most of these cigarette plug-in chargers are 4 -5\" long. This causes an issue on Harley Ultra\'s and other touring models, as they interfere with making a sharp turn, pushing the plug-in into the gas tank and causing a hazard. This EDO Tech Mini Charger only protrudes from the cigarette plug by about 1/4\" so it never gets close to the gas tank. Glad I could find this!!!
