  • My daughter recently got her license and I want to be able to track her driving. She really didn’t want to use something like Life360 that tracked too much personal data for her comfort. So, we settled on this. Setup is a breeze. The user interface is pretty intuitive and it gives me all the information I could want. It’ll tell me her speed at various points in her drive. It will give me maximum speed. It can tell me when she goes over the speed limit. It tells trip distance and time and will report things like hard breaking or fast acceleration or even notify you of an impact in a crash. It’s also better at telling me her location than Find My iPhone does. It will notify me of the start of the trip and then end if I desire. For me, there’s really nothing I want to know that this device won’t tell me.
  • This device is awesome and makes me feel so much better about the safety of my car. I have a car that\'s easy to steal so this puts my mind at ease on so many levels. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the type of car I have has a cover over the OBT port; I had to remove it to plug in the device, but I cannot put the cover back over it because the device is too big and sticks out. This looks very tacky and makes me nervous, that if someone attempted to steal my car, the only thing they have to do is look down and throw the Bouncie out the car. Maybe they should consider making it smaller so it\'s more discrete because if its noticeable and a thief can notice it\'s there, it kind of defeats the purpose of having it... but other than that, this thing is great !
  • Apparently, this thing works even when the car is not running! My car was towed (I accidentally parked in front of a driveway), and I was notified that my car was moving. I immediately called 911 and we picked up my car. My bad for parking there; I owned up to the towing fees, BUT I didn\'t have to pay anything for storing it there since it wasn\'t there for longer than an hour. The Bouncie and app are awesome and well worth it.One thing to note: it\'s pretty obvious when it\'s plugged into the OBD port. To get around this, I disconnected the port from the bottom of the dash. It wasn\'t too difficult. Then I used a couple zip ties to hide it under the dash where it\'s very concealed. If someone were to steal my car, I don\'t want them seeing the Bouncie and tossing it out the window.
  • For $8 per month, the amount of data Bouncie delivers is amazing. I know where my vehicle is, how fast it\'s moving, where it\'s traveled, instances of rapid acceleration and deceleration/hard braking, instances of long idle times, maintenance reminders, gas mileage, and lots more. If you have a teenage driver, this is one of the best bargains on the market today in my opinion. Terrific product, amazing customer support when I\'ve had a question, a well-designed and easy-to-use app for iOS and Android so my wife and I can both see the same information. I bought a second Bouncie for our other car. Totally worth it, for less than I pay for most of my streaming services.
  • If you need to monitor a new driver or elderly relative this is the answer. After a family member ended up driving forever in a confused state my whole family was looking for a vehicle tracker solution. Bouncie is incredibly easy to set up and provided all the needed options (like geofencing and collision alerts) we wanted at a very cheap $8/month.In use it has proven to be scary accurate (showed the vehicle in the handicapped parking, and a trip to a specific ATM lane at the bank) and it also gives you a quick look to see if the vehicle is out of gas or has a dead battery... I imagine the excessive braking or acceleration alerts could be useful for younger drivers but we were mostly interested in collision and location.Very very happy with this so far...
  • I have an elderly parent with dementia (mid-late stage) who still has the right to drive. The first \"lojack\" I bought on Amazon did not clearly advertise that their software TOS demanded you sign over to them the right to gather your web browsing data and share/target it to you, but you could not use it until you did agree to have them track your web activity and share it and target you. This one didn\'t even have a TOS agreement, and its tracking so far is awesome.I don\'t know about durability or blind spots in areas not so tech-savvy (I\'m in Silicon Valley) but so far so good. I initially tried to spend less on the tracker (~$30) and then something under $10 per month for actual GPS tracking. I couldn\'t be happier after returning the other one and (as far as I can tell) paying more to have a similar monthly GPS tracking rate but no \"you pay us to track you\" agreement. My first hit for info was a Forbes article, I think. It did not mention the difference in data tracking and usage. Pay to be tracked and targeted? No thanks.
  • Bought this to track an elderly mother in law who is in early stages of Alzheimer\'s, just in case. It was super easy to set up and after the initial 10 minute setup drive it works absolutely perfectly! GPS and car Data was 100% accurate. I am now thinking of one for each of my vehicles.
  • I\'ve tried several gps trackers for when I occasionally list my personal cars on Turo, this was by far the most accurate and reliable tracker. Bouncie also records speeding, acceleration, and hard braking data I will never rent out my vehicles again.Drastic difference from my driving data vs a renter\'s driving data. Goes to show that people will not respect your property like it\'s their own. Even highly rated Turo renters were pinging high speed, hard braking/accelerating alerts ON A TRUCK. Can\'t even imagine if I rented a high value/performance vehicle.Bouncie is excellent if you rent out your cars, manage a fleet, or need to keep track of your older/younger drivers in the family.
