  • Honestly, this thing has some pretty cool things you can look at, specially as a person getting back into riding. It\'s nice to see the distance you\'re riding, speed, incline, decline etc etc. But the interface, the buttons, the pixelated onscreen map...Seems antiquated for a piece of tech this expensive. If you are using it for motivation, like I am - It\'s fine. But it\'s nothing you\'re looking forward to playing with. I use it to see how far I\'ve traveled and possibly how many calories I might of burned on my ride... All the other features are a waste on me because I couldn\'t be bothered...The watches seem to have better tech, better features and more practical uses. Pushing the really hard to squeeze buttons while riding is also a hassle.
  • Lo compre \"renovado\" y está como nuevo, hice una salida de 13 horas seguidas y al final con 45% de carga aún. Tengo un Garmin Edge 1040 y aunque el 530 tiene menos funciones me parece muy práctico!! Realmente me encanto!!!
  • The Edge 530 is fine. The Garmin app is super clunky. Prepare to spend a ton of time trying to connect and sync.
  • Envío muy rápido y excelente producto
  • Worthy upgrade over my nearly 10 year old 520. I\'m not a fan of touchscreens on basic electronics
  • It looked like a good deal but unfortunately it could not pair with the iphone app, nor could it pair with Bontrager lights, this was one of the main reasons I wanted to get Garmin. Also the maps on this unit are not the same as the pictures. The roads are just thin lines instead of wide gray paths as I expected from seeing the pictures of Edge 530.
  • The item is very well, at the exception that it is mot pairing to my phone. I am pretty sure that it is mot because of bad phone manipulation. I have tried to pairing but doesn’t connect to the garmin connect app.
  • One of the key benefits of the 530 Edge is turn by turn navigation. If used according to the manual, the only way one can set locations is by using the GPS itself to position the location on the GPS\'s map to the desired location and then saving that location. If in fact this were the case, then this feature in my mind would be virtually useless. There is no way to directly enter addresses or search by location name on the unit itself. In fact, the 530 DOES work with Garmin Connect and Base Camp. In Base Camp, while you can\'t enter addresses you can enter places such as a bike shop, park, trail, etc. You can also download or synchronize courses from Strava and others. This makes it relatively easy to enter locations and courses if you have Internet access. As far as the button interface navigation- given how small the screen is, using the screen itself to move around would probably be even more cumbersome (Garmin 810)- however this is just a guess. The unit has a lot of other cycling related features that I am just exploring, though a number of them requires purchase of additional sensors. The display is bright enough in sunlight and battery life appears solid.
