• This works well, but if you already have something in the charger slot, you end up stacking them, which interfers slightly with the shift stick.Just a little bit of a pain.
• The USB ports make it easy to charge your phones etc but the only drawback maybe that it does increase the length of your outlet when you plug something additional into it such as the Garmin Car Charger. It does work well though so I give it a 5 for that but the 4 because of the length. I don\'t think that much of anything can be done with this part of the design, again if you can live with this it works well!!!!!!!
• For me this works beautifully. I can plug this into my accessory receptical (cigarette lighter style) and then plug my Garmin into it and I have two charger ports with up to 2.4amp output, making it suitable for Apple products or quick charging Android devices.If your accessory receptical is in the dash, you should be aware that it will a bit more than double how far the garmin plug sticks out from the dash. This is a non-issue for me because my accessory receptical is in the console.
• Great pass thur design to plug in any device and still have 2 usb ports available to connect other devices you need to charge. Side placement of usb ports help keep the extra cables out of the way of interfering with great shift or drink holders in my car. My only wish is that it came with a cover or plug to keep dust and little fingers out when GPS is not plugged in and USB ports are still being used. I plan to buy a second one for my other car. Handles simultaneous charging of GPS, Nexus 6, Nexus 9 tablet with no sweat, no overheating and reasonable charge rate.
• Works very well without fail. Charges iOS devices all the way up to my iPad Air2 while operating my Garmin GPS. We also own the Tom Tom version of this, which we prefer just for the USB port configuration. The Tom Tom version has the USB ports more off to the side which feels cleaner in the car. Both work great with my Garmin GPS; just depends on which configuration you prefer.
• I tried a few other multi chargers to run the GPS and charge a phone. This is the only one that worked... I feel the charger is on the expensive side for what it does, but it does work. A bonus for my family is the 3rd part of the charger that will accept another plug-in power cord. We use this to run our Garmin Nuvi 2597 lmt, charge a phone and use that inner socket to run an R2D2 usb port that my son adores. Its amazing to be able to run all three at the same time. So while it is on the expensive side, it works and it works well. All in all, money well spent.
• Previously, I had what can only be described as three devices plugged into the dash power port - a 2-way splitter, a dual-USB adapter, & my Garmin GPS. With this unit, I\'ve been able to eliminate the 2-way splitter & dial-USB adapters, and replace them with a single unit. Not only are there les pieces involved, but, more importantly, the combination still out far, far less than the old combination. I wish I had known about this before purchasing the other two items, as not only is this a better idea, but it also cost considerably less than the other two. Would I recommend this to other people needing to power a GPS, while also powering up to 2 USB-powered devices? You\'re darn straight I am.
