K-Edge Garmin Sport Mount
- Easy to install, worked perfectly with my Garmin 810
- As advertised. Holds my Garmin 520 securely and is easy to fit and adjust. It just works. Only down side is that (for the edge 520 with start and lap buttons on the bottom of the unit) the lap and start buttons are a little difficult to get to due to the stem face plate but this is likely the same for any unit mounted in front of and flush with the stem. If you don’t use the lap button often this would not be a problem.
- Nice and clean, much better mount than the original Garmin mount. Great price and super light.
- K-Edge products are literally bomb proof and can easily survive a nuclear winter. Compared to other brands, mostly plastic, these are made of high quality aluminum and will eventually become family heirlooms which will be handed down from generation to generation. They are the only brand mounts I trust 100%.
- If set up correctly this product functionally just fine. However it\'s very disappointing to find it a three piece system with a nylon wedge vs a two piece all CNC\'d Al. I have two of pervious version that was at similar price point and vasty superior in build quality and easy if installation. As someone pointed out go with next price point up if you\'re fussy about your gear. I\'d give this 6.5 out 10 (I\'m not fan of 5 stars) vs pervious version that was a rare 10 (e.g. Thomson seat post, Chris King headset, Phil Wood BB, or King Ti bottle cages). Not sure why K-edge did this.
- I hated the out front mount that came with my Garmin Edge 520. It places the head unit above the handle bar height. The K-Edge brought the head unit down in line with the stem!
- Good solid mount. The downside was that I upgraded to a 1030 shortly after and it does not accommodate the larger model. Still a very well built mount for the other Garmins I have.
- A very well produced garmin mount. It\'s very secure and fits well on my carbon drop bar handlebars.
