- I had been looking for an AI Box for several months. Previous units did not work or worked poorly in my 2020 Jeep Compass. This unit works well. Here are my pros and cons.CONS: 1: Can take 30 seconds to 5 minutes to boot up.( Not a huge problem since I can listen to radio unit it boots.) 2: It won\'t boot through USB splitter. I have several devices that use the USB port, so I have to prioritize what gets plugged it. 3: I can\'t use a sim card for surfing. The unit doesn\'t recognize the card when plugged into sim slot. I used my phone hot spot.PROS: 1: Customer support is great. Great response time on questions or sending upgrades. They really try to help. They care and follow up. 2: It actually works as advertised. You will need a little patience to set up but once it is, it does great. Wireless Android Auto works pretty well. As with unit booting, sometimes it can be slow booting AA, but once it does, it works well. All preloaded apps worked except one. I let them know and they sent a new version. They also sent the latest operating system. 3: It is small in size. Approximately 2 1/2\" square and 1\" thick. It also runs nice and cool! One other brand I tried was very hot in a very short time. 4: Google playsore is included. All preinstalled and downloaded apps I use work. Hopefully. that is true for all apps readers of this review will use.
