- The media could not be loaded. The ball has a coating making it a bit to large to push into the gps holder. I love this mount set up though. You can mount your Garmin anywhere.

- This is a quality constructed mount. Aluminum with a nice black finish. It fits my Garmin ball mount adapter. It doesn\'t offer any protection, so I think I\'m only going to use this on the road, not off it.
- ***Important Note*** This is a 17mm ball mount, it will not work with 1 inch ball mount items. Make sure you\'re buying the right size before ordering.This is a really high quality clamp. I purchased it to attach my Garmin motorcycle GPS to my bicycle. I have the wired mount on my motorcycle, but I have the ball mount that I snap onto this clamp while riding my bike.I did not expect this thing to be as solid as it is. First, it\'s heavy in that \"this feels well made\" kind of way. The finish is really well done too so it looks nice. The t-bolt that opens and closes the jaws of the clamp turns smoothly and it\'s large enough that you can get it good and tight by hand. I appreciated that I wouldn\'t need tools to mount this since you\'re never sure where you want something on your handlebars until you\'ve tried it for a little while. To release and re-position this clamp is a breeze.I would for sure buy this again.

This clamp is built like a TANK.17mm ball is a very common application to be used with Garmin GPS and other magnetic receiver such as Mountek magnetic mount. According to its product description, 6061-T6 aluminum alloy was used for the main body. It appears to be anodized (or very good powdercoating finish) - excellent overall fit and finish. This looks sturdy enough to be used in military application, and I\'ve been in military electrical connector business ince 2000 (22 years and counting).I was too lazy to dismount my daughter\'s beach cruiser in my photos (4 & 5), so you are seeing my smartphone hanging upside down using BRCOVAN\'s handlebar clamp with my \"home made\" OhSnap Sanp Mount. I would feel very safe using this mount on a road bike and not worry about the phone flying off.Excellent product, BRCOVAN! 5 out of 5 stars!!!!!
- First off it’s important to remember that there are multiple size mounting balls. Most typical motorcycle Ram mounts are one inch. This is 17mm or just under eleven sixteenth of an inch.My Garmin uses the 17mm. I have multiple motorcycles. Garmin will sell me the fixed mounts for around $60 or I can use this Brcovan handlebar mount on as many bikes as I want. All for about $20 it’s a no brainer.This mount is solid as a rock. I don’t think even my tooth rattling old Harley can hurt it.
- I use this to mount my iPad to my steering yoke in the airplane. Solid as a rock. Extremely well made. Highly recommended.
- This clamp is very nicely machined, heavy, and feels very durable in hand. It\'s easy to add a cell phone holder to it, but you can also use this for many Garmin devices as well (they also use the same 17mm ball). The inside jaws are padded with a grippy rubber, open very wide to accommodate different sized bars, and can be clamped strongly - but I would make it a practice to check this regularly. Vibrations always have the tendency to make things get looser over time. This is a very nice purpose-built clamp.
