  • I purchased this to power my Garmin GPS 2689 - it works, and the cable is much shorter than the factory option - which was the primary reason for the purchase. I also have the USB connected via a double USB outlet, so am able to charge a phone at the same time.NOTE: one of the reviewers stated it enabled the \"traffic warning\" function. It did NOT for mine, and the GPS screen notes this each time it is turned on. As others have noted, it apparently does not work as the PC connection cable - that is not a problem for me.Only 4 stars for the lack of Traffic, but still a good purchase for me.

  • My mom still has an old Garmin, and the 10 year old cord finally gave out. This replacement cord worked great with the garmin, and I appreciate that the cord will work with any car charger -- I swapped out the car charger that this came with for one that has two USB slots, so she can charge her phone at the same time.
  • It works bery well. It would be nicer if the 12 volt power supply had room for 2 usb charging ports, so a phone could be charged at the same time.Works as advertised.
  • This worked but the cord is very short. Which in a way is good and in a way is not. It fits my car which is small, I don\'t know if it would work well if you had big windshield and dash.
