- I used this ball mount to install a RAM mount cell phone holder and a large drink holder on the right side of the Polaris\' handlebars. I would definitely purchase again....
- Built tough, super sturdy.. used in a Jeep to hold 2 phones perfectly! Would recommend!!
- Likes: Sturdy material and has a feel of a well made product. \"Killing two birds with one stone.\" Meaning, if you wanted to mount multiple equipment on a space-limited handle bar. This product is a great multiplier for such doings! Does come with varied size tube rings for mounting the bracket.Dislikes: Equipment can get in the way of your dash / GPS / cell ph., but that all depends on design of handlebar. Overtightening can easly strip the threading to keep the mount bracket from slipping with the weight of a phone or drink holder. You may need to \"MacGyver\" it a bit to keep it from slipping on the tube. My solution was to place mounting tape to keep it from slipping.Overall: I do recommend this product if you like to keep a drink handy for those long hauls or fiddle with your GPS or mount multiple equipment with limited space. It\'s a space saver. I hope this helps!
- I\'m adapting it to my vehicle, instead of a motorcycle as it was intended, so my application may not help those seeking review for motorcycle use.For my center console, I put a 1/4-2 threaded insert in a useless slot. From that point, I added this arm so that I can mount a Garmin inReach Mini GPS and a Midland GMRS walkie talkie microphone. Both devices within reach out of the way of my cup holder, gear shifter and 4WD shifter. I\'m using a combination of RAM Mount, iBolt and ARKON accessories for everything. Feels very solid and functional for my needs.
- I am using this on my Tri-glide Ultra to mount my Ez Pass on one post and my phone on the other using Ram Mount hardware. Works great!
- Appears to be well made, finishing is top quality. Lower rating comes due to the fact that no inserts were delivered in the package, so I\'ll have to sort it out on my own.
- When adjusting the RAM balls, they do not fit well and therefore are loose and can generate vibrations.
- This item keeps all equipment in very close proximity to me, and giving me space to Fish on a kayak. I’ll give it two thumbs up.
