I disliked that it doesn\'t work with tractor trailers. However, it does alright with cars and SUV\'s. But because its refurbished. You get what you paid for. I wish this review could have been better.
My phone is better than this product, the touch screen isn\'t very good cause its so sensitive that even if u hit the right spoy it thinks u hit the spit next to it so ull need about 3 extra mins if u wana get the correct address, it doesn\'t give a voice recognition option and its not up to date at all ot can\'t tell if ur on a 2 lane or a 4 lane road so it makes alot of mistakes with any new construction like new roads , 4 lane bridges its not even close to being up to date with that stuff plus A HUGE ERROR about a convenient thing is it shows the current speed limit for the roads ur on and its some times WRONG!!! So I was speeding and didnt know it!!!\" Also going to slow and wasn\'t driving to the correct speed limit!!! Its dont get all speeed limit signs and id say its more of a HAZARD at times And its a lil slow.. but it does get me where I need to go but if I WASNT ALSO USING MY PHONE AS A BACK UP AT THE SAME TIME I\'d have gotten LOST, PULLED OVER a few times for SPEEDING AND OR GOING TO SLOW,.ect 2many times, so use Google as a 2nd gps to make sure ur going to the CORRECT roads AND SPEED since this one isn\'t 100%accurate, but it works 80% of the time.. hope that helps, I\'m thinking of returning it for all the wrong info it uses!!
I bought this as a replacement for an older model that I lost . I would definitely recommend this product . No maps to load .Just put in the address and go !
I MADE TWO ATTEMPTS TO GET A PROBLEM SOLVED WITH GARMIN CUSTOMER SERVICE. AFTER THE SCOND ATTEMPT, WHERE THEY WERE SUSPOSE TO CALL ME AND DIDNT, I DECIDED IT WAS RETURN TIME.
Really great GPS! Use this al the time now because it Works better than the built in one in my car and my phone! Easy to use!
I\'ve owned several Garmin GPS units over the years and I didn\'t think twice about getting a refurbished one on Amazon to save a few bucks.For the first 6 months, this unit did exactly what I needed it to do. However, it randomly decided to stop working altogether and wouldn\'t get past a blank screen asking me to choose a language with no selections visible. Eventually it allowed me to get past this screen (after several restarts) but even when it let me get to the map, no map details were visible and the only things working were the speed, direction, and the icon I chose for my vehicle. I need a GPS for daily use and can\'t afford to spend the time and money to send this somewhere so I had to go to Walmart and buy another. I hope this is a fluke and won\'t happen with my new unit.
I still have my Garmin from 15 yrs ago. It\'s still working but I was tired of not being able to update my maps. Pulled the trigger for this one.DEAD ON ARRIVAL. No power, won\'t charge ... nothing. I\'m so surprised since I\'ve owned only 2 Garmins and both are still working.Tried googling to figure this out, all I found out is that it won\'t charge with the USB cable provided, you need a special Garmin adapter to use. NOT included.Beyond disappointed and returning this with no plans to buy Garmin in the future.
Difficult to input your destination.Only displays one piece of information on the screen. Other GPS unit will display multiple pieces of information on the screen (time, arrival time, distance, elevation etc).
