- I have an old Garmin but I really liked it and used it all the time until the charger stopped working (the cord was broken where it went into the cigarette lighter). This charger worked for a little while but then it stopped working. Not sure if the problem is the Garmin or the charger. For the price it was worth trying. Now I’ve been forced to use my phone since my 2012 car does not have a mapping system!

- This power supply I thought would be the end all to the issue I was having with my Garmin Nuvi 260 not being able to take a charge. My truck has GPS yet my older car has none of the bells and whistles as do the newer vehicles. This power chord did really well for the first week then all of the sudden stopped working. The green indicator light when plugged in to the cigarette lighter even stopped lighting up. I figured it may be a fuse in the male end but no way to access it. Even if that were the case without access to replace a fuse in the plug or even the in line power converter you\'d have to open a sealed part of the unit to do so thus voiding any warranty you may have with the product. I chose to return it and just use my phone in my old car. Made more sense to me to buy a inexpensive phone holder for hands free navigation as I have ear pods for communication while driving.

- This works fine for my gos.
- The car charger that originally came with my Garmin broke years ago. I had been using the computer cable with a car adapter but it took forever for the Garmin to boot up. Once it started working, the Garmin would randomly reboot or shut down with no warning. This charger works beautifully and I no longer have unexpected rebooting issues with my Garmin.
