GM Genuine Parts 25918632 Electronic GPS Navigation Antenna

I know that this is a oem fit for my navigation but the reception isn\'t very good. Any time there is any overcast, the reading on the navigation is incorrect. The nav unit is also new. I haven\'t been able to get the spec for the antenna to match them with some others on the market, I feel that the antenna isn\'t strong enough to get a good signal. The antenna is in the factory location under the dash. I don\'t know if putting the antenna ontop of the dash will do anything different but I am trying to keep the factory look.
Thank you just updated my factory CD radio with new factory radio with navigation and this was the last part I needed not to bad for a 08 h2 hummer.thank you juan
