- its a little big bulky, but it allows geotagging at expense of blocking the built in flash and occupying the hot shoe. I don\'t use the flash mostly because the K5 has great ISO range. Another issue is that you have to keep the camera on to maintain a connection to the satellite. That means if you arrive at your location you have to turn the camera power on for around four minutes (varies) before it acquires, and keep it on continuously till you do not need geotagging. On-off-on-off does not work well and you may get some pictures that are not geotagged if you do this. It also does not work well indoors, so tagging on entry and exit helps with organization.
