- My Air-tag fit into the holder perfectly and works well. I am submitting photos of this air tag holder, next to the Apple branded Air-tag holder. I bought the 4 pack of air tags, and two Apple branded holders, which cost me about $ 35 each. The brown one is the Apple holder. It is open on both sides as the photos show. This holder is closed on one side. I was concerned that having one side closed would affect the transmission, but it instantly pinged very loudly. This holder is a much better value.
